Co-Owner · CPA, MBA
Brandon has almost twenty years of public accounting experience mostly with a Big Four national CPA firm before joining Smith and Shin, LLC. He provides consulting, tax planning, and tax preparation for over three hundred clients in various industries including real estate, service, and manufacturing both nationwide and locally. Brandon is certified in both North and South Carolina, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a B.S. degree in financial accounting, cum laude, with a distinction in accounting, from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a Masters in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. He currently serves as the Treasurer for the Upstate Carolina's Real Estate Investors Association.

Ki has over 30 years of public accounting experience. He has worked for multiple Big Four national firms before joining Smith and Shin, LLC. Ki was previously the tax manager for the largest real estate investment company in the nation. He also has broad tax experience with all types of entities including corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and individuals. Ki is certified in North and South Carolina, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his Masters in taxation degree from the University of South Carolina.
